Hans-Joachim Roedelius is one of the forefathers of the Cosmic Music and the Krautrock. With his bands “Cluster” and “Harmonia”, which were created in the late 1960s and 1970s, he designed these music styles decisively. Arnold Kasar is almost thirty years younger, grew up musically in Berlin in the 90s. He broke the line between electronic dance music and jazz, worked with bands and musicians such as Micatone, Nylon and Friedrich Lichtenstein, and was active as an ensemblemist, arranger and producer within the circle of the influential Berlin label Sonar Kollektiv. Kasar has a classical piano education, Roedelius has never learned to read music. As different as the approach of the two is, they nevertheless share openness with all musical forms: Hans-Joachim Roedelius and Arnold Kasar develop a unique chemistry with their delicate pianochords and atmospheric electronic sounds.
